I am looking for a legitimate online business?

June 1st, 2007 by

tking asked:

I am a stay at home mom and I have been searching for an online business that is legitimate. I have looked at many and sad to say most of them are scams. I have to be home with my kids right now because some of them are young and not in school. However, I need something to do for myself not just financially, but a little sanity. I’ve been home for almost 10 years I’m going a little bananas.

Beginning direct sales in my new small business, need ideas?

May 6th, 2007 by

melissa B asked:

I make some really cool home decor products (sign boards with custom sayings, etched wine glasses & pitchers, personalized totes etc.) and I want to expand from craft shows to direct “home show” sales. What materials do I need to have printed, or make for my hostess? I have created some postcards, but I don’t know what else I need. I know some of you sell Mary Kay, Pampered etc. Please let me know where to go from here. Thanks a lot!

Thoughts/ideas on Mary Kay, Avon, home businesses, etc. ?

April 5th, 2007 by

Kennadee asked:

I am 14 years old and very mature and very organized. I am extremely business – driven and I am determined to start a home business. Please don’t tell me that I shouldn’t do this, because I am 100% certain that I can and am ready! The only thing is that I am slightly hesitant about what I should sell. I was going to do Mary Kay, and I was all ready to invest myself, but I don’t think that people would want to buy expensive, high quality makeup from a 14 year old, even if I am very mature. So what I want to know is what do you think I should do? Would Avon be better? Or do you know of a different thing that I can do? Please and thank you!

p.s. Would you buy Mary Kay from a 14 year old?

Anyone know any good “work from home” businesses out there? Especially one that can suit a stay-at-home mom?

February 10th, 2007 by

Anonymous asked:

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.

I’m interested in a work-from-home job/business opportunity, especially those that could suit a stay-at home mom.

Here are some things that I’m looking for:

1. Something that doesn’t require any monthly payments or start-up fees or anything.

2. Something that is flexible and that also does not require ANY telephone use (for example, such as calling people and convincing them to join your business! This is such a pain to do, btw!)

3. Any work-from-home job/business that requires the use of a computer is just fine.

4. Something that you think is interesting to do and is NOT a snorefest! I understand that you won’t always get the job you want in order to earn a living, but I’m just looking for something here that is not too much of a burden to do and, at the same time, is something that I could benefit from.

5. PLEASE no businesses that require you to get people to sign up with you in order to earn money!

6. Any ideas about starting my own home job/business would be great too!

7. I’d like to know if you’ve previously experienced (or have someone who has previously experienced) this specific job/business.

I believe that’s it. I’d really REALLY appreciate the help here..it’s hard to find something legimite on Google nowadays.

P.S – If ANYONE refers me to ANY “get rich quick” scams, or those cheap survey websites that “promise” you thousands of dollars for filling out a million page survey, or ANY FRAUDULENT website that lies about it’s offers, your answer will be REPORTED. I’m serious about this. Stop spreading cheap websites that do nothing but scam people. It’s not right and won’t be left off of easily.

On the other hand, anyone who gives me a great answer will be chosen as the “Best Answer” of this question. =) An extra ten points! Yay! lol.

Once again, I appreciate all the help in advance! Thank you!
Looking forward to hearing your answers.

Oh, and please don’t refer me to Ameriplan. =) I’ve tried and tried and tried with them and in the end, I left the business completely.

Thanks.

Who wants to work from home? I FINALLY found a legit business and was wondering if there were many out there?

January 18th, 2007 by

Karen T asked:

I’ve been trying for years to be able to work from home, but all I ever got was stupid “pay me this much and I’ll tell you how to do it” offers and then all they gave you was things like “put up a website and advertise this product.” SCAMS!!!

A friend finally turned me on to a girl who did transcription and she gave me a list of people who were hiring (that you didn’t have to pay obviously) at-home typists. Of course, the girl charged me $20 bucks for the list and the info to find the forums, but it was worth it overall as I now get to work from home and make a very good living.

It’s hard work though and you’ve gotta make yourself do it and there’s no down time if you want to get paid well. I was wondering if there were any other types of LEGIT work at home jobs out there that I could try?

what business should I start?

December 12th, 2006 by

phantom asked:

I live in Australia and I would like to start up a business, but I don’t know what services to offer. I want a low risk business, even if it means a low turnout. This is going to be a run-from-home business. Any ideas anyone?
I’m not looking for any thing like a job so don’t start sending me these rubbishing things about taking surveys. Thanks.
